A box of cubes does not travel far, but it does change hands a few times. Here is its trip, told from the box's point of view.
- On the shelf. I wait in the partner store's warehouse, sealed, with my cubes bagged and my idea booklet tucked in beside them.
- Picked. Someone presses the buy button on a set page; the store takes the order and the payment, and a picker lifts me off the shelf.
- Packed. I go inside a shipping carton. Bundles travel as two or three boxes together, so do not worry if more than one arrives.
- On the road. The store emails tracking to the address on the account. Delivery speed and cost were chosen at its checkout.
- At the door. Missed delivery, wrong address or a late parcel? All of that is handled from the order page at the store.
- On the rug. Lid off, bag open, first two cubes clicked. My job is done.
Unboxing checklist
- Pour the cubes onto a tray rather than the floor, so none roll under the sofa.
- Count by color if your child enjoys it: it doubles as the first game.
- Look over each shell; set aside any cube with a crack before play begins.
- Keep the outer box until you are happy with the set, in case the store asks for it.
- Gifting? Leave the carton closed; the gift box inside is ready to wrap.
Deliveries go to addresses in the United States unless the store offers more at checkout.
