Gathered from the play mat, sorted into four piles. If yours is missing, ring the village bell.
The cubes themselves
Why does one cube sometimes refuse to join another?
Each face hides a small magnet that can turn inside its shell. After a lot of play a magnet may settle facing the wrong way. Give the cube a sharp tap on the table or a quarter turn in your fingers and it usually snaps back to life.
Do solid and clear cubes weigh the same?
Almost. Clear cubes feel a touch lighter in the hand because the shell is thinner to let light through, but both kinds use the same magnet layout and the same one-inch size.
How many colors can a single build use?
As many as the box holds. Starter sets carry five to nine shades, the larger bundles reach twenty or more, and every Apluses colorway mixes with the others.
Playing and learning
My child only wants to knock towers down. Is that okay?
Completely. Pulling builds apart is how small hands learn the strength of the click. Building usually follows once the knocking-down has been enjoyed enough times.
Can two children share one starter set?
For short sessions, yes. Once both want to build something big at the same time, a playroom set or a bundle saves a lot of negotiation over the last red cube.
Are the idea booklets meant to be followed exactly?
Only if your builder enjoys that. Many kids copy one picture, then change the colors, the size or the whole animal. Both are good play.
Care and storage
What is the easiest way to tidy up?
Make it a race: one color at a time into the drawstring bag. Magnetic cubes also stack into a neat brick that slides into a drawer.
Can cubes go in the sandpit or the bath?
The shells are sealed, so a rinse after outdoor play is fine. Dry them before storing and keep them away from heaters and hot car dashboards.
Choosing and buying
Which row should a first-time buyer start with?
For a three-year-old, a first cube set. For a five-year-old who already builds a lot, go straight to a playroom set. Siblings and classrooms are happiest with a bundle.
Why is the price at checkout a little different?
The partner store sets the live price and it moves from time to time. Each set page shows the month we last looked; the checkout figure is the one you pay.
